The Fuzz-Stang is the first and only repro of the ultra-rare Sam Ash Fuzz-Stainer. Hand-wired, one-of-a-kind, and super-dynamic, the Fuzz-Stang circuit uses two silicon transistors that are locked up in live-forever steel. Kick out hard-clipping, ring-modulating, face-to-the-glass buzz with decay that’ll burn your bacon. Then stomp up some life-threatening, bottomed-out fuzz, drunk on gain and sustain!

Fuzz-Stang FAQs
What is the Fuzz-Stang?
The Fuzz-Stang is the first and only repro of the ultra-rare Sam Ash Fuzz-Stainer. It’s a silicon driven fuzz pedal. Although dialing in classic fuzz tones is not a problem for the Fuzz-Stang, it’s the touch-sensitive, choked out, sputtery and static filled buzz that sets it apart.
What is the Sam Ash Fuzz-Stainer? Do you mean the Sam Ash Fuzzz-Boxx?
Nope, don’t mean the Sam Ash Fuzzz-Boxx. Below is the Sam Ash Fuzz-Stainer. The Fuzz-Stainer was made in the mid-60s in NYC at the Sam Ash Music Store on 48th Street. Not sure how many were made. It’s rarer than the Fuzzz-Boxx.
Who makes this thing?
Matt Wright of WrightSounds makes the Fuzz-Stang.
