What people are saying about our FX Pedals …

“Man, this thing is great (Fuzz-Stang). I did a solo gig in Boulder a couple days ago and used it for the first time. Got some cool tuba like sounds out of it. Sort of like that scene in “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” …looking forward to see what else might come out of this thing.

“The Fuzz-Stang is great. It really is a fantastic fuzz pedal. Got a great solo running a baritone guitar through it; even sounds great on a Melodion! My favorite feature is the attack control. Dialed way down I love the way it chokes the signal.”

“Oh shit where do I begin. Its a master Fuzz pedal! It’s perfect in how you can control the fuzz and fine tune your “spitty” tone. So in certain rooms you can really dial it in w/ the room, the bands volume and sonic space. Also i roll back the fuzz use it as a overdrive similiar to the tube screamer and it fucking screams when i play lead. This pedal write songs for you.  I love running the fuzz w/ a slap back from the Echo Plex. It’s so warm and fat and sounds like a speaker ripping on mars. I said it b4 & I’ll say it again. This is the fuzz of fuzz’s!!”
-Benny Yurco (Grace Potter & the Nocturnals)

“Nasty clippy sputtery fuzz from another planet- pretty evil (in the good way, u dig?). Starts around ZZ Top fuzz narshties and goes all the way to sputtery evil fuzz. Very cool pedal!”
-Jamie Saft (John Zorn, etc)

I’ve been using your boxes all week and I love them!  The Fuzz-Stang is exactly the sound that I hear in my head when I think of what a fuzz should sound like, but have never been able to find.
The benchmark for fuzz to me is Hendrix’s “Come On (Let The Good Time Roll)”.  I was able to easily dial that in.
Congratulations!  Your gear passed the jaded, rapidly approaching middle aged, been there, done that a million times, this is literally my 100th band, finalizing my divorce(not me), surly, asshole test.  I should send you a damn trophy.

“Matt, the Fuzz-Stang is super cool.  It’s funny, I’ve always really liked Devi Ever and Zvex and their approach to fuzz, but I knew that they really weren’t for me.  When I heard the Fuzz-Stang, I knew that there was music in there that I could understand.  I’m going to be spending quite a bit of time with the Stang and I feel lucky to have one.”

“Matt! The Super Boost rulez. I used it on some xperimentalll jamminz and it was awesome. Then I replaced my super hard on with it in band practice and it killed. Mixed with that Keeley modded Blues Driver every note is clearer, but still with the raw overdriven sound I like.”

“Dear Mr. Stang,
I am lucky enough to possess Fuzz-Stang #25. Like many other fuzz enthusiasts, I have tons and tons of fuzzes, but I can honestly say: none of them are like the Fuzz-Stang. It is a singularly amazing device with a sound that really has to be heard to be believed. I LOVE how unruly it is – it refuses to be tamed!”

“WOW!!! It could be that I’m high-as-fuck on coffee & garlic, but HOLY SHIT, I really love this pedal. It’s EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. I hope you sell-out and continue to make more.”

“I’ve been playing the Fuzz-Stang for more than an hour without turning it off. Its awesome how it responds to different intervals (6M and 7m), intermodulating and generating frequencys ( i like when you play a power chord and somehow the fuzz makes the 5th sound lower than the root). The way it stutters (or sputters) sounds awesome on a tele or sg (i like how the humbcks mess up the gate). The tone control really does the job. On the visual, the green led on the purple looks awesome , and the knobs are well distributed, so i can put my fingers around any of them without touching other knobs. Thank you very much for making such a great pedal, i’m very proud to have it on my collection.”
_____
The pedal is definitely very cool, a strong silicon style sound with lots of gain. Some of the tones had a slight ring modulating to them, which was interesting. And of course, the bright green LED. It is a great sounding fuzz pedal for sure. Keep up the good work.
_____
Such a cool pedal. It’s a wild one. Gobs of gain. I like how it has an almost gated-like quality of buzz. It’s a beast. Super cool and I love the design.

“The world had better pray that I learn to use the Fuzz-Stang’s powers for good instead of evil…a man could level the globe with this much funk ‘n’ fizzle at his fingertips!”
